There is no password to use Publish eBook... so probably what is happening is that you somehow got to the point of trying to look at the VB code that makes up Publish eBook and then you're supposed to be asked for a password.
If you weren't doing this voluntarily, perhaps something went wrong and you got an error, and Word offered to let you look at the code that caused the error, and then asked you a password for this.
In order for me to be more helpful, you'll have to be more descriptive of the events that led up to the error: what did you click, what message boxes did Word show you (if possible with exact texts and error codes).
Thank you for reporting.

I double clicked on the "button." And you are right, I did get to the VB code. I will reboot my computer and try again. I have not lowered the security as you suggested either. Thanks for the response.

Yes, the problem is with the security settings - if macros don't get enabled, clicking on the button won't run my code. And by Double-clicking you're telling Word you want to edit the code, that's why you get prompted for the password.
Just lower the security to medium and re-open Publish eBook; Word will now ask you whether to enable macros and you can answer yes; then the button can do its magic.
